Like almost all steroids, it inhibits the release of gonadotropins from the hypophysis.

Nandrolona D Contraindications/Precautionary Measures

Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to the drug, prostate cancer, male breast cancer, breast carcinoma in women with hypercalcemia, severe atherosclerosis, nephrotic syndrome, acute and chronic liver disease, including alcoholic nephritis, pregnancy, lactation.
