Ephedrin Contraindications/Precautionary Measures

Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to the medication, as well as in patients with inadequate fluid replacement, impaired adrenal function, hypoxia, hypercapnia, acidosis, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, prostatic hypertrophy, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, closed angle glaucoma, phaeochromocytoma and asymmetric septal hypertrophy.

Overdosage

Seizures, irregular heartbeat, heart attack, strokes if taken in large doses.
